Your work stays on your Mac.
Project Terminal stores account email, your optional display name, license and legacy subscription status, device activation identifiers, app version, and connection timestamps in Supabase. Stripe handles card details, payments, and invoices. Resend delivers account sign-in emails through Supabase Auth.
Download email and optional marketing
We require an email address to record a download request. Downloading does not create an account or sign you in. We store the email, request time, marketing choice, and the wording version shown when you chose. The marketing checkbox is optional and unchecked by default; downloads work whether or not you select it.
We use your download email for Project Terminal product news and promotions only if you opt in. Marketing emails will include an unsubscribe link. Download emails and form values are not sent to website analytics or advertising pixels. Contact ahmetsoybelli@gmail.com to request access to or deletion of your download records or withdraw marketing permission. These records are separate from account records and are retained for up to 12 months after your download request.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure website visits, navigation, downloads, demo interactions, and progress through sign-in, checkout, and account actions. Google Analytics uses browser identifiers and cookies. Our website event code excludes form values, account emails, device identifiers, and sign-in tokens, and strips query strings and fragments from reported page URLs. Google advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled. Website analytics is separate from the optional Mac app usage reporting below.
Optional Meta advertising cookies
With your permission, Meta Pixel (ID 1607818857798347) measures visits, pricing views, downloads, workspace-demo interactions, selected plans, checkout starts, verified purchases, and Mac activation actions. Meta receives browser and cookie identifiers, ad click identifiers, network information such as your IP address, and these website events to measure advertising and build advertising audiences. A purchase event includes the amount, currency, license plan, and an opaque transaction reference; it does not include your payment-card details. Downloads measure a click, not a completed installation.
The Meta Pixel does not load until you choose “Allow Meta cookies.” Use “Ad cookie settings” at any time to decline or withdraw permission. This choice is stored in your browser. We disable automatic event configuration and do not send account emails, form values, activation tokens, or raw checkout references in our events. The pixel is excluded from the admin page. Our browser stores a bounded list of opaque purchase references to avoid reporting a purchase again after a reload. Meta handles received data under its privacy policy. This advertising choice is separate from Google Analytics and optional Mac app usage reporting.
Optional app usage reporting
Usage reporting is off by default. If enabled, we collect feature counts and active app duration to understand adoption and improve the product. Change this choice in the app’s Account settings or your web account. Offline preference changes synchronize on reconnection.
We never upload terminal output, commands, project paths, repository names, environment variables, SSH details, or AI conversations. We do not sell account or usage data.
Retention and control
Raw optional events are retained for 90 days; daily totals without user or device identifiers are retained for 12 months. You can export your account data or delete your account from the account page. Deletion cancels active subscriptions and deletes associated cloud usage and device records. Local workspace files stay on your Mac. Stripe retains billing records separately.
Service operation
We record sanitized backend request status, webhook processing health, and administrator support actions. Rate limiting stores temporary hashes of network addresses. Browser sign-in stores session credentials locally to keep you signed in. Native device credentials are stored in macOS Keychain.
